Journey Inward
Journey Inward
Our bodies carry unique wisdom that supports us in healing, remembering our authentic selves, and reconnecting with our wholeness. The healing process is a deep journey into ourselves and our spirituality.
One of my intentions during sessions I offer is to create a spacious and supportive container for such a journey to unfold. From my yoga background, I bring a body-focused approach into sessions to inquire into your bodily awareness, experiences, and sensations. Short meditations, visualizations, gentle breathwork, and body movement are often part of the session. I also bring in the process of Compassionate Inquiry, a psychotherapeutic approach created by Dr. Gabor Maté, to explore beliefs we carry that may no longer serve us. The process supports us by uncovering the beliefs we carry but no longer serve us, recognising unconscious dynamics in our lives, and bringing a new perception that may support liberating ourselves from such dynamics.
When our life is too overwhelming, it is hard to recognize what's truly happening within us: within the body, mind and spirit. As we start reconnecting with ourselves and begin to notice what's happening, we can start accepting any changes we may encounter, allowing ourselves to make necessary decisions based on our own "truth". Being aware of what's happening "now" is an empowering experience; to me, it feels very spiritual.
